The 83 holds a special place in my heart. I was 15 at the time it came out and it was the deciding factor that I always wanted to own a Toyota 4x4. A buddy of mine built an 83 show / crawler with a plate that said "Stil2lo", it had a V8 in it and was totally insane.
Good luck with the sale, that is an amazing rig!

Can I assume the 83 Toyota has not sold yet?
Hi Tom,
I have the truck and camper...Send me a PM or e mail. I just back from a 3 day backpack...climbed Tower Peak, south of Sonora Pass area.

Sounds like an awesome trip! I wish I had that much fun this weekend! I did manage to get in a little Geocaching today... that was the extent of my weekend fun. I had to work Saturday.
I sent you an email off-list.

Congrats to you on the sale, but I have to admit it is a shame to see it go. That was easily the greatest expedition vehicle I have ever seen. All of us arguing over which truck is best could do nothing but stand aside and drool when looking at your setup. Hopefully the new owner will participate in the forum and keep us up to date with his/her adventures.
