Not sure if this applies to your issue, but my campers stove wouldn't ignite on first one burner, then a few weeks later a second burner. The problem wasn't the piezoelectric sparker, but cheap wire from the sparker to the burner. My stove has a single piezoelectric sparker and wire going to each of the three burners. The insulation had cracked and the spark was shorting out to the metal stovetop. The solution was to replace the cheap wire used by the manufacturer with wire designed for an electric fence (i.e. the wire between the HV power supply and the fence). It has much thicker insulation so the high voltage from the sparker doesn't short out to the stovetop.
