After washing with soap and water my panels still are very hazy. I'm tempted to clean them with alcohol or rain x but I'm not sure if that is safe. I'd ask the manufacturer but heck, I don't even remember who I got them from anymore. Sure wish I kept a log of everything I did on my camper and truck.

Our house solar gets a lot of pollen and other junque in the spring. It's impossible to get them completely clean, but I think most of the rays are turning into amps.

Meanwhile, last month we left our portable panel on top of our camper, and drove off. Bang! It hit the pavement glass side down, scratching it but miraculously nothing broke!

Zamp Solar, maker of the factory 100 watt panel on my 2014 Hawk, recommends Hope’s Perfect Glass. It contains no ammonia. Available at Lowes, Home Depot, and others.

I thought getting old would take longer.
