We just returned from French Glen and between the Steens and Pueblos. The mosquitos and biting flies were epic. Lots of green and standing water = not enough Deet in the world.

Sounds like a typical spring, how was the birding?

Out by Summer Lake, OR HWY 31, mosquitos were epic as well. Couldn't escape them during the day, and then they hid in my camper and waited for me to come back in at night!

Fishing was good, ate plenty of trout.
