A small Dilemma.

Installing a Rich Solar Mega 200 Watt 12 V panel with a Solar Panel Connectivity Reverse Adapter.

With the MC4 to SAE plugged in Polarity is in fact reversed.
I have to attach the SAE to SAE that will correct this issue, but it does not supply enough clearance with where I want to install the panel. East to West in between the front and rear fans.
I also don't want to go higher as the space between the panel and the roof is already too high for my comfort.

Can I simply connect the red to the - and the black to the + on the PVM side of the Victron charge controller?

Look at Amazon for a SAE 90 degree plug that is Polarity reverse. And below is the link.

https://www.amazon.com/CERRXIAN-Polarity-Reverse-Disconnect-Connector/dp/B0BVFMLK53

This will plug into the roof SAE and keep it close to the roof with the 90. Bonus is it is a reverse polarity then you can connect the SAE to MC4 cord to it.

When I bough mine from Overland Solar with a SAE 90 pigtail he made the MC4 connections to it and attached the MC4 connectors as a reverse polarity. Way less connections.

And yes you can wire it on the roof any way you want and reverse the wires at the controller. But make sure you label them clearly and for the rear SAE plug if you ever use that one.

With the 2 pack you can use the spare for the back plug.

I searched for a plug and saw this one. I don't know about the quality.
