Hey Mr. Pueblo, here's your chance how can you pass on a deal like this, forget that you could buy half the state of Montana for that much money.

How are you feeling these days? I hope you're taking good care of yourself.

We just sold a Hawk Model to a customer in Bend, OR that had one of these.

I think he just sold it for around $150,000.00 used.

Pretty sure his main issue was that the rig was just TOO big to get into the places he wanted to go.

Believe he lives just a few blocks from Dirty Dog? I think he might have been one of the curious "lookers" that actually stopped by DD's house to get a look at his camper and ask questions before he bought.

Thanks DD !!

:)

DD keep your eye our for a new hawk on a crew cab, ford F-150, king ranch.

He will probably be doing some drive-by's lol

Yeah that fella stopped by a couple times. I was surprised to find out he was the dude with the Earthroamer up the street. There's a good makreting story for you - guy sells Earthroamer to get FWC :)

Which half would that be? Because I love Montana, and I can get a loan... :D

One of the most beautiful things to me is 100% functionality, not granite counter tops and fine woods in an off road camper.

That said, a monoque ATC or FWC for nasty weather & high exposure exploration would be incredible.

Otherwise, the obese "Debtroamer" leaves me asking.......why ??

I'm sure it would fit in the Walmart parking lot :)

The same question (why?) was broached with Jay Shapiro and his Eco-Roamer. He managed to explain away every expenditure on a rig that when done (5 years and counting) will make 2 or 3 Earthroamers look like a bargain. In the end we can all rationalize the cost of just about anything we want. Its all relative isn't? If you have Shapiro's money a $500K+ 4X4 that's restricted to highways, graded roads and RV parks makes sense. At least to a few. Just like a 150K F250 Earthroamer makes sense to those who want one and can afford it. Hmmmm now how much is that second house batt gonna cost me?

If I had the cash, I'd buy or build an Earthroamer. The granite is overkill, but there's a lot to like on those trucks. Well, I don't have the cash so it doesn't matter...
