I'm trying to search the forums, but not finding what I need yet - thought I'd ask the question here. My refer pilot keeps going out. Was working fine in June, but having trouble keeping it lit now while vacationing. It will light and stay on for a while (not sure just how long yet) but when I check on it a couple of hours or so later, the flame is out. I have plenty of propane, and everything else (stove, hot water) is working fine. I did just change the regulator (constant smell - thinking I had a bad regulator), so there's a possibility that the new one could be faulty? Anything simple I could look for? I'll check this board again when I stop somewhere with internet access. Thanks.
Help! Refer is not staying lit (propane)

I had the same problem last year. Follow the instructions in the following post and clean the slits in the tube. It works great now.

Back home now after 7500 mile trip.
I ended up taking the orifice out and soaking in alcohol per instructions. Also cleaned the slots in the burner with a wire brush. Put everything back together and it only went out once after that. Otherwise fine for the rest of the trip.
