My '04 Hawk has a damaged door frame at the very top. I have the replacement part, but I'm having trouble removing the old piece. Took out 9 screws outside, and 2 inside, used a putty scraper to break the seal of the sealing tape, and the damn thing still won't budge. I'm not comfortable with using any more force than already used.
What am I missing here?
Who has replaced an FWC door frame?

I changed out my 2002 Hawk door to a new one with a screen door. All the screws were on the out side all the way around the door a lot more than 9 screws. The putty pulled off slowly. My '04 Hawk has a damaged door frame at the very top. I have the replacement part, but I'm having trouble removing the old piece. Bill, I agree that there are more than 9 screws holding that door frame, but I only want to change the top of the frame which is a separate piece.
