I am going to finally lift the front end of my truck, 2" to level it with my rear end. I had put a new set of leaf springs on the rear of my Tacoma to better support the camper, and stiffen up the ride. That worked, and it worked good. Since, I noticed I am 2" lower in the front end of the truck. If I park on level ground, I have to use blocks every time we camp, or our heads are low.
So I did some research and started looking into leveling kits for the truck. There is a lot out there, but I decided on some spacers that you put above the coil. The product is made in California, and is called "Velocity Offroad Inc." It is a 2" billet coil suspension lift spacer that is made out of aluminum, and supposedly will not change the ride of the truck. I will have to get an alignment after I install them though. And yes, I can install them. They have a video of some guy doing it with your basic tools and it takes him about 45 minutes. I figure I can do the first side in about an hour, second in 45 minutes.
Any opinions or advise is welcome as always,
Thanks,
Scott

Scott, make sure they'll work with your existing shocks. If their stock, they may not have the required travel you need when off-road. Food for thought.

I have 2004 tacoma prerunner doublecab, and I also put the 2" billet aluminum spacers on my coils and I love them. I put larger tires and it resolved the rubbing issue. I also put on a pair of Bilstein hd shocks, stock length, while i was at it. I love the ride, the height, everything.
It's sits level with the rear when I have about 15 pounds in the airbags with the camper off.
I did alot of research and the spacers were the best way to go for my application. Just make sure to get an alignment a few weeks after you put them on.
