I found a neat way to check if your refrig is working. I use a remote thermometer made by Acu-rite I place the remote unit in the refrig to get the temp. I velcro the main unit to my dash. It gives me the temp in the truck and the temp in the refrig. my refrig gets to 38 degrees on AC I have not checked how cold it gets on propane.
I also use it the check the temp in the camper. I place the remote inside the camper and bring the main unit in to the house I get the temp inside the camper with out leaving the house....
I bought the unit at OSH for about $12.00 I'm sure one will think of other uses
Is you Refrigerator working?

Great idea! I have one of those remote thermometers and never thought of using it like that.

Star,
I like the idea of not having to open the fridge to check the temp. I'm going to add that to the buy list, thanks.

I bought that same unit and it never did work correctly. I guess I just got a bad one, I'll try again.

Propane test. at 0800 I fired up the refer. temp was 52 degrees at 0930 temp was 30.2 degrees outside temp 59 degrees. 1130 update 20.5 degrees camper temp 64. it seems propane is better than AC.
Sam just to let you know I had low batteries and the unit gave no readings just "---"
