Hello camper friends-

Looking for some direction here. I have the Rieco Titan Standard 1000 lb Tripod Camper Jacks and need (2) new bases. My old bases were stolen and were custom made. The bottom of the jack slid into a 6 inch high cylinder which was welded to a 5x5 plate. The manufacturers tripod bases have too big of a footprint for my truck to clear when loading/unloading. I know there are work arounds with mounting brackets that take the Jacks wider from the camper but I'd like to avoid this if possible.

Does anyone know of some low profile bases for these jacks? Or anyone in the Salt Lake City area that could make custom make bases?

Cheers to all!

Terry

My guess is you'll need to get bases fabricated.  I too have the tripod jacks and anything other than the fold out three legged bases sold by Reico that I've seen have been custom built.

The good news is any good welding or fab shop should be able to create whatever you need fairly easily.  I'd just swing by one with your camper.  With some explaination to the vendor on your needs and some tape measure work they should be able fix you up.  If you go that route please post some pictures of your new bases as I am kinda in the same boat as you.
