Last fall I reupholstered my Hawk with leather. I did it in Napa, CA very close to the FWC factory. There are two resources there that make it a good place to leather up. First the Hyde & Leather House (707)255-6160 is a great wholesale and resale source of hides. Second, Silverado Upholstery (707)252-7212, co owned by Andrew and Kayla Chambers does a great job. I find leather to be warm in winter and breaths in summer without a sticky feeling. It is also very durable, easy to clean and I think gains character.

The hide cost me about $300 and the re upholstery $400. A quick stop in Napa after picking up a new camper and you can have her done while doing a little wine tasting. Or, if you are like me, there is a great Irish Pub in nearby Sonoma instead.
