[Black Diamond Aircraft]

Hi, I just odered a new raven shell   (hopefully middle of May delivery to JHFWC) and was a little concerned about the eyebolts pulling throught and cracking the bed like I have read about on another post. 

 

Would anyone be willing to share a pic of the new style backing plates on their tundra?  Are there any better options?  Do the newer style backing plates solve the problem?

Thanks!  Does it still feel like you can "oilcan"  the bed when you pull on the bolt?

I didn't install the bolts. Denny at FWC of Jackson hole did it. My truck is a 05 Tundra DC.

I used 3x6x1/8 stainless plate (that's what I had) the factory uses aluminum. I installed a fender washer on top and a normal washer on bottom. I used forged 3/8 eye bolts with a 3/8 nyloc on the bottom. So far so good
