Thanks for the tip Rusty, I've used the Krylon plastic paint with success before; for this I think I'll probably borrow some of my son's Testor's model paint. 

 

You can't really tell from the pics, but the plastic is really UV degraded; I'm going to thin some epoxy and put on a couple thin coats to fill the porous plastic and then some bondo to level the imperfections.  I'll post some more pics when that's done.

good progress on your rebuilt. I like it very much. For me it is very interesting which different solutions and technics we/you all use while restoring and repairing our campers.

Just chucked a block of ice in the fridge for now, so still need to figure that out, but the Mr. Heater worked great.  Too bad the weekend ended early with this though:

Do you have a template for the end wall or did you just eyeball it...

There are a few pictures in my gallery regarding venting refrigerator gas in a new installation...it's been working well for almost 10 years now....couple computer fans...some sheet copper and an old refrigerator skin...batta bing. 

 

Nice job BTW.....well done to all who had a hand in it ;)
