Recently bought a 2016 FWC Hawk Shell with many optional upgrades I wanted, but unfortunately it didn't come with a power inverter.
Many of the 1000w pure sine wave ones I'm considering have a ground wire post; what are you folks connecting your your inverter ground to?
For additional details, the camper has a RedArc DC-DC charger connected through a 7-pin plug by the hitch receiver. Should I connect the ground to my negative bus bar, or will I need to ground the inverter to the camper chassis? (If I have to choose the latter, does galvanic corrosion become a concern? I live in the midwest and use the camper in the winter.)
Edit (Jan 11): FWC responded to my email, and suggested I ground the inverter ground post to the negative terminal of the battery directly.
