A bit of background. Trip started 54 years ago with half a dozen guys who backpacked into the Feather River. They started invititing friends and those friends invited more friends until eventually it got up to over a hundred people attending. Fluctuates around 70-100 now.

Spent many years up at tiny Taylor Lake until the old guys couldn't take the altitude anymore and it move down to Antelope Lake. Stayed at the main campground a few years until the camp nazi's "suggested" we move to the group campground where it has been ever since except the one year someone forgot to get the reservation and we held it at bucks lake.

We fish, drink, gamble, and generally do guy stuff. No women allowed on this trip. Sometimes you need to remind the young ones not to go home and tell mom to "pass the f@#king ketchup".

Something over 25,000 acres burned south of the lake, and 60,000 acres burned north of the lake last year. Somehow the campground was spared, thus the shirt.

Tradition like this is what it's all about!!Even if the kids curse at mom a bit, it's worth it for them to see how the guys do it.

Really cool that you brought the pet cow as well:D
