Just returned from baja and made an off road trip from punta chivato to san evaristo to los muertos to los barriles. from los muertos to east cape was high adventure. Made it! anyway turnbuckles keep coming off. I have the hooked ended one that came with my 03 eagle. got Woodland guys to install my bracket s in the bed of my tacoma . seems they should locking or have lock nuts on these things. I have looked online but nothing seems to fit. Suggestions?

Hello and welcome.
The most common fix that I have seen on the board is placing a nut on the turnbuckle preventing it from loosening. You can do a search here on turnbuckles and likely find some other ideas.

I simply run a piece of wire through the eye of the fixed bolt and the body of the turn buckle. I have driven hundreds of miles on rough forest service roads without any loosening of the turn buckle using this method. Good luck.
