Has anyone replaced their 1.9 cu ft Dometric with a 45 qt Engel? I want to buy an Engle and may build it in or at least have the option to do so in the future. I don't have my Panther handy so can't measure it myself. I would use the Engel slide out bracket to provide access.
I would like to use the larger 45 qt if possible as this seems to be pretty much the standard for these fridges. Thanks

Here is a picture of an Engel in a FWC.
This Sean Dempsey's camper (our dealer in Wisconsin).
His camper probably has taller walls and more space above the Engel than you would have in your ATC.
We made a custom counter top on his camper so he could access his Engel from the top and then we added the small stroage next to it will some left over cabinet space that was there.
He has the slide out tray installed as well.
Looks nice -- seems to be working great for him.
Sorry I don't have any other pictures other than this one.

Aren't those kind of heavy to use on a slide out? Definitely on my list of things to upgrade to someday.

I'm not sure Sean's Engle is a 45, might be next size smaller.

It looks to be a 35 Qt with a two zone top. Sean posted on the FWC forum about this modification in response to a thread I started a couple of weeks about Engles. Looks good, thanks for posting the picture Stan.
I will have to wait until I have the fridge and camper in the same place to work out the installation. The 45 quart should be about 4 inches shorter than his combination.
