Hi Everybody,
My name is Dave and I am honoured to be a member of your forum. I am an equestrian distance rider and compete regularly. When I attend rides I spend anything from 1 to 5 days camping at the ride venue and the way I do it now is I haul my horses in the horse trailer and my wife hauls the camper so we spend the entire trip in seperate vehicles. This is ridiculous as we wish to spend the time together, not to mention the expence of using two vehicles. There are not many living quarter horsetrailers available here commercially exept the imported ones which are extremely expensive due to the customs duties and Rand /Dollar exchange rate. Truck campers are not very popular here so there are not too many available to buy. I wish to build myself either a Truck camper or a living quarters horsetrailer but even after spending hours searching on the net I have been unable to source any detailed blueprint type plans with bill of materials, exact dimensions and assembly instructions. Can anybody supply me with contact details of a supplier of these type of plans or if there is anyone on the forum who has a copy of plans such as these who could let me have a copy I would really appreciate it. I need plans for both as I wish to do a costing excersise in order to determine the most cost effective route to go.

The plans are a little outdated but with a little inginuity and patience you could modernize them. I think most of these plans are made out of wood but you could certainly make them out of any modern material. Good luck!
