That fabric is hilarious. Can't wait to follow the rebuild. Like longhorn said, Living The Dream/Tim Morrissey might be a good resource for you. He has a series of videos on youtube about rebuilding his Granby.

And details on that rear awning will be useful for a lot of people. Our 2018 Hawk has a rail on the rear roof that is most likely the same one they used for the old rear awnings. On one of our visits to FWC, one of the employees was chatting with us about awnings and he looked up at one of the showroom models and pointed out the rail. He said "It looks like we are still installing that rail as the dripline." They don't make the awnings anymore, but the rail is still being used to divert water from the roof around the door, so a lot of people might be able to DIY an easy rear awning.

Agree on both points.

1. Let me know if you have any questions about my rebuild

2. Would love to see some details of that awning. I have a ton of excess material form my rebuild that I have thought about turning into an awning and would love to pull some ideas. - Tim

Just a quick FYI, the Grandby from this old topic will be listed for sale shortly in the Gear Forum.

I figure it ought to be offered here first before hitting FB Marketplace or CL.

Thanks for any interest.
