Time to part ways with our 2003 FWC Eagle (serial # 20784-E). I'm the second owner, bought from a guy in NYC in 2008.
Asking $9800 or best reasonable offer.
This camper has been wonderful, perfect for a family of 3... probably 20k miles, or even 30k, of great trips and adventures on the road less traveled.
Generally speaking, i can think of no option this doesn't have, except solar, which wasn't really available in 2003 and therefore not pre-wired (fan was, and it has one). I was always hesitant to put solar on, although it would be great, just to leave room, and minimize weight, for other stuff on the roof.
- Carefree of Colorado Awning
- 3-way fridge
- water tank
- sink with sureflow pump
- large house battery
- yakima roof rack and rails
- Custom dinette with cushions for sleeping
- powered roof vent
- LED lighting
- Digital thermostat
- Brophy portable jacks
- I have a dolly for moving around and the 2'x4' plywood sheets to sit camper on.
- Hellroaring battery isolator
- Lift support gas struts
- 300lb flat aluminum "pet step"... a nice larger place to step onto.
- Grab bar above door to help getting in and out (clutch!)
- probably lots of other things i'm forgetting.
I went through and replaced every screw with stainless screws, except around the roof edge and the top of the roof (just never got around to those, at least the roof edge, I have a box of screws ready). Camper is in great shape. The jack brackets are really the only thing that ever rusts, and i take them off every couple years and clean and paint. Lots of targeted improvements to make it better!!!
The camper is EASILY moved around on the dolly by one person... LIGHT, but rhetorical for this forum! It is currently on a Toyota Tacoma DBL cab long bed. I have the mounting plates for a Tacoma, of course, as well as a hellroaring battery isolator and battery wiring. A bunch of spare parts as well.
