Here are a couple of shots from last weekends trip to the Virginia mountains in the no. western part of Nevada. Was a great rip for the dog and me. Beautiful spring even though it was snowing.

Near nothing really which is what makes it great. Closest places: Zenobia, Herlong, Pyramid or Honeylake.

Great pics! Thanks for posting. I am always in awe of the wide open and secluded land in the western states. Don't have that type of territory here in the east :(. I need to move west so I don't have to drive so far to get to it.

Were these photos taken on BLM land?

Looks like a nice area. We're always looking for new places to see. Got me checking the map. A loop from our area past Pyramid and then across over to 395 could be done in a long weekend. Thanks for sharing.
