Bill, I have a dual band plus a ic-706 in the cab....when i am in camp, I will often remote the heads into the camper. Nice. Do a lot more listening than transmitting, but fun to run the radio at night and listen the the circus on 75/80. I also use a yaesu 817 sometimes. Like to use that in the back of the camper and run QRP. A good way to spend a rainy camping trip.
In fact, I run more radio in the camper than at home. something about free time.
