It was and still is! Pie for lunch today. The Lady informed me she needs a new corer, slicer, peeler before she can process all the remaining apples and vacuum seal and freeze for future pies. I'm on it.

let us know what u decided on the peeler/corer
my daughter and family lives in hood river or, and i will be up there soon for apples. will be doing applesauce for grandkids and friends.

This is as close as I could find to ours -
We went down the hill to an apple orchard and bought a slicer that, upon getting home, realized was poorly built and a very light construction - a piece of junk. I fixed, adjusted, the old one we have.
