Hi all, I have DeeZee bed mat in the bed of my truck. What do guys do for preperation of the tie down bolts? Slit the rubber, Hole saw a hole big enough in the mat to fit over the bolts. Or just cut off the wings in front and back of the wheel wells?  THANKS

Our FWC Dealer slit the bed mat to fit around the bolts.

A year and a half after I got a bed mat and I STILL haven't modified it to fit over, around, the eye bolts.
I like having a simple project at the ready in case I get bored.  :P

I used a 1.5 inch hole saw to make holes centered over my eye bolts. My mat is a 3/8 thick rubber mat sold by GMC for the truck.

I bought a Black Armour from Canada for Ram 3500 Longbed with Grandby. Top notch.

Hole saw 100%.

Use high speed, push slow.

Clean install.

Measure twice. Drill once.
