Looking into getting a propane fire pit. I've heard reviews of it making a super loud hissing sound. In the videos it seems to only hiss at WOT. Anyone with experience or any recommendations to another product. I like the Little Red because it is small (just my wife and I around it) and it is totally self contained with the metal carrying case.

I don’t recall hissing from our LRC, but we don’t run it wide open.

The Outland looks like a good deal but its bigger, heavier and has no hard case.
My hope is that the LRC will ONLY hiss when cranked up. The flame looks too high anyway at WOT. I'm just looking for a nice medium/low fire to set between my wife and I and our camp chairs.

We have a LRC, and on low heat (6” high flame) the hiss is barely audible in a very quiet environment.
