I tracked it down.  It was a pop up roof and deck option for the KampKing camper. Lifetime warranty too!   :lol:

 
As far as I have been able to determine the company was started in the early 1960's and reportedly lasted until the early 1990's.  The latest picture of one I found online that looked like these was a1968 model.  They also made class C motorhomes on van chassis.

There was a pop out back option as well

' have kids on a deck like that now and somebody'd call Child Protective Services. But, it'd be great for use at Indy.
