Darn, I must be going senile. I thought I just posted this, yet I cant find it anywhere.
I need some advice. Do you remove the light bulb from your brake light above the cab of your truck when you have your camper on, or does it make that big of a difference. I am thinkin of removing mine so I wont see it every time I put on the brakes.

I'm sensitive to extra light when I drive at night. I crank down my instrument lights so I can barely see the needles.

I popped the bulb out of my 3rd brake light so it wouldn't distract me. Easy, happy fix.

Don't notice it at all. The cargo light can be annoying though ;)

the light can get pretty hot if you are braking a lot down hills

we have had customers melt hole in their vinyl front sliding window boots if the bulb was not removed

just something to consider
