If you have never been to see the nearly 3,000 flags that the Pepperdine community displays annually in honor of the victims of 911, the flags will be up until the morning of Thursday, September 21st. LA county is still allowing street camping. Malibu Creek and Sycamore Canyon State Parks are both nearby and there is a private campground, Malibu Beach RV Park.

Wow! I thought nobody honored those victims and memorialized that day anymore.....kudos to Pepperdine and those participating...a breath of hope.

Yes, as semi-locals, we drove by them. Emotional, but glad to see the victims recognized.

2005 Reg Cab Dodge Diesel 4x4 6sp, far, far from stock. Gutted 4 wheel camper pop up, now a shell that rests on the bed rails. Rebuilt the interior, much simpler, far more user friendly. Much better.
