Need some new BFG Mud Terrains, but they don’t make them in the 235/85 R16 size I’m considering switching to. Saw the new HD Terrains on the website, but can’t find any impartial reviews yet (just obvious reprints of sales literature). Wondering if anyone has real world test results and/or technical info on the differences between it and the Mud Terrain. Looks like it could be promising, but at those prices I don’t want to be a guinea pig!

Thanks,

Tom

I noticed those also when we recently bought tires (same size, KO2). It looks like the HD Terrains are intended for work trucks, whatever that means. Maybe it's more about load capacity and hauling lots of stuff, and less about what off-roaders are into? I'm curious and following this thread.

About to order my 3rd set of 255/85/16 BFG KM, the new set will be KM3's. Load range E always for me as I am about 700 lbs over GVWR with Eagle shell on 09 Tacoma.  This tire and size has done well, never had a flat yet. I air down all 4 to18 psi.
