[Cpt Davenport]

Wild mushrooms are abound. A hike up the creek last night yielded some nice, early boletes, oysters and chanterelles. Concocted a great soup today with the bolete. Made for a cozy rainy afternoon on the coast. Used up some end of the season goodies for a side salad of apples, brussel sprouts and arugula. Some times the best meals come from whatever ya got laying around  the homestead.
