Hi folks,
I need some help figuring out how to wire the Tundra's battery to the Surepower 1314 in the camper.
I picked up a used 2007 Eagle and the previous owner had a slick set up to charge from his Tacoma's 7 way trailer plug. Problem is I can not use his 7 way connection so I need to wire directly to the trucks battery. I'm not sure what he changed but the male camper 3 prong plug is only using 2 wires. One white + and one black -. Is this how the camper came wired? If so, all I need to do is rewire the female 3 prong plug and run a white 10 gauge wire from the trucks positive terminal with a 40 or 30 amp fuse in line. Then run a black negative wire right to a ground on the truck body. Is that correct?
Thank You,
T.

Pretty much, but consider taking that ground wire back to the battery. I've seen more issues with poor grounds

Thank you for help.
I stumbled across this link. Somehow I missed it when I searched the Four Wheel Camper web page.
It may help someone else if they do a search.
