Guys Im gonna be up at ATC 0800 on Monday morning to get the new canvas put on finally,,, and im trying to decide where to stay , I dont really want to the drive in one shot at 0100 im getting to old for that, any ideas where I should stay on the coast and have a 1-2 hour drive in the morning ? Well after looking at the mileage maybe the Delta would be better ?

Stockton is 45 min from ATC (which is very close to me)
how about this... http://www.parks.ca.gov/?page_id=557
it between I5 and 99 so its not way off course and you dont have to thru the bay area.

no sir i have not...i looked over a map to see what i could find you. i have driven that path many times over the years and understand the issue.
hell if ya want you can camp out in front of my house overnight. i live within a mile of ATC.
