Does anyone have experience with a small wind turbine to recharge house batteries?

No experience but I saw a neat one next to a 4wd van that was camped way up Pine Canyon in Big Bend last month. It would drop to zero then whip up speed in a hurry. I think here in the SW it wouldn't be as useable as solar and does require more set up. in Newfoundland it might the better source of a recharge.

If you're on a snowy/blown mountain it might come in handy assuming it performs in the conditions still. Also it'll charge at night which is nice.

In general though solar would be much easier if its an option so I'd say it really depends on your camping plans.

2022 F350 7.3L; family trailer at the moment and some aluminum stuck together to eventually form another truck camper
