I've never seen anything quite like that -- very cool.If you decide to bring your bike along, here is an very well engineered hitch mounted rack. The price is comparable to some Thules and Yakimas (although the add-on for a second bike is overpriced), but much better for quick mounting of the bike. It's also fairly lightweight.

Not that my solution is the 'be all end all' solution, but these $20 cleats from rocky mounts have worked fine for me (5+ months and 13000 miles since August 2011)
$40 on bike mounting, save the extra $460 for fuel and food! (It does take longer than 5 seconds to mount/dismount my bikes but shoot, its not a quick draw holster for a EDC weapon... Its a bike that you take off to ride then clean and put back away...)
