Installed the folding steps

Thanks Chicali and Stan for specs.

I finally installed two folding steps on the passenger side. See photos. Used 1/4 drill bit, 2.5" stainless screws (eventually cutting off 1/4" with dremel), washers, nuts and capnuts. Easy installation. I had ordered 4 of these stainless folding steps and the two I've installed are enough. Selling the other two. Just email me.

looks great, unfortunately i already got my hands on two :( , but i am stoked, can't wait to get them on! how was the install? how did you locate the studs? did you drill form the insode or outside? any other tips? thanks for posting!

mine were more than this, well actually i traded for them, but the item i traded was way more than this...good deal though for someone looking for steps for their camper/bumper/whatever! cheers!

Try a stud finder. Marty says they work.

stud finder worked pretty well, all stainless steel hardware and about an hour labor...pretty easy. thanks for all the advice!

thanks, definately want to drill from the inside...there's a reason they call them "suicide jacks"! :D
