Happy Thanksgiving all. Waiting for turkey to cook so I thought I would toss this out. Do any of you meet up for trips in February or March? I have trips planned for April, May, June, September and October. Death Valley? California somewhere? Nevada? I am unsure about weather there. It can snow here both months but it is warming up. I have read many posts and would love to meet the lot of you. Any group that has musicians and photographers and people who love the outdoors/off road would be fun to meet. We don't drink but don't mind others who do.

I volunteered to accompany some bikers to DV. I'll carry the beer and food. I still can't think of the downside :)

If you end up in northern or central CA we can probably make a three day weekend of it to join up. We camp year round even in colder weather areas so temps aren't our restriction, just getting the time off. Spring on the coast is usually nice. DV in march should be good. Lots of neat places to explore in NV. You set the time and place. If it is close enough, we'll try to be there.

Thanks Ted. Currently, we are winterizing our camper until March as we can get cold here (down into single digits in some winters). I am buying Laurent Martres new book on photographing Northern California. I will see how it compares to his 3 on the Southwest. His volume on Oregon was done by another photographer and I didn't think it was as thorough as Laurent's. I will see what he has to reveal then check out passes that are open and which way is more scenic to get to our destination. Thank-you for your offer.
