Better spigot for fresh water tank

I searched the forum but did not find a match for my question. The plastic spigot at the rear of my FWC broke this last trip. I figured it would since the sun beats on it constantly. Has anyone found a metal equivalent that fits in the same space? I use it a lot to clean my hands outside before getting in the camper or rinsing my feet.

Since it sticks out and can get caught replacing it with something strong may need to be mounted with sheer bolts or plastic.  But I hope we see a good answer to your question as the current system does not work as well as it might.

I must confess I just put the same style on again and bought an extra. The trailer store said they are the most common style. And sun does them in eventually

 

I did discover that FWC misdrilled the holes for the part originally. The left screw was kind of jammed in the big hole. I had to move the spigot to the left and redrill the holes.
