That reminds me of the old pit toilet at the upper warm springs in Saline Valley; the views were spectacular. Some the best bathroom poetry could be found there:

He I sit as I take a sh**
And I look at the wall
with amazement and awe
To find to my surprise
The sh** is eating the flies
