Removing Oxidation w/Scotch Brite?

Just bought a mid 90s LaVeta and I'd like to remove some of the dullness on the outside fiberglass. Has anyone used Scotch Brite cleaning solution to do this? How were the results?

 

Anything work better?- I want to be careful not to remove the gel-coat...

 

Also, for cleaning and protecting the pop up material, I'm thinking to use armor all- is this what most folks use for this?

NOOOOOOO on using Armorall.  You want 303 Aerospace Protectant.  The following are a couple of several posts on pop up care:

I realize your LaVeta is a Hallmark but I think the same approach would apply.  The following is a tip on general care from the Owner. or previous owner of ATC Campers.  If you are unaware, Hallmark is still in business and a call to them would probably get you a care and feeding brochure:
