Well kicked into high gear getting ready for the Baja trip in October...

1994 Starcraft Sportster 711   pop up truck camper 

 

installed the Lagun table mount..SWEET....

.

installed the Fantastic Fan .(psst, now I can get rid of the "bungee cord" assist when lowering the top...just close everything up and reverse the fan and ..bingo..it sucks the panels in),,,

 

modified the bottom cabinet to acomodate the porta potti

 

got 2 U-1 AGM batteries for house power

 

the PO already changed out ALL the bulbs for LEDS

 

sanitized the fresh water tank

 

gotta finish the riser deck, hook up smalll solar for house batteries

then start setting up housekeeping

 

 

33 days till departure

 

oh yeah ...scored a Kelty Carport on CL for $140...

 

Need sources on truck camper bedding....top bunk   76x46...Full?    dinette bunk   70 x 36 Twin?

I ran equilization cycles on my 2 camper batteries (wet cell), using my B&D charger.

Actually, started yesterday and finished today.

It had been a while.

I unloaded after a short camping trip. Since we ran into heavy rain returning on the freeway near home, I didn't even have to wash any dirt and bugs off. That was cool.

Have mine loaded for a weekend trip but my mother-in-law has taken a turn for the worse so not going now. Wife hoping to decompress.
