http://backcountry-b...rant-trail.html

This is the blog Tony did about the Heart of the west route he rode. http://www.advrider....ad.php?t=845500

Parting of the ways is on my bucket list! When my kids start learning about the wagon trains going west we are making a trip... To visit the rock marking the "parting of the ways"

Oh figure on reading the whole blog in one spell.... I couldnt walk away from it.

Have you seen this? http://www.oohva.org

They have one for Washington, Colorado, Utah and a few others. The Oregon one is tempting to get. Split the full route among a couple friends and plan a few guys adventure trips.

Yeah I actually bought one of their maps. It's great for a back up. There's a learning curve to understanding they way they have it laid out. It's definitely not as quick and easy as digital but you can tell they put a lot of work into it.

It's not easy getting the word out about our journey. If you haven't seen our Facebook like our page and share it. Help us get the word out about Oregon Trail Off-Road and also check us out on Instagram. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I find many interesting things while creating our route maps just thought I'd share this one with you guys. It looks to be a training base of some sort thought it was fascinating with the old planes.

Any Idahoans interested in helping us run part of the Idaho portion of our route. We need recon on the Idaho part for route viability, alternatives and POI's. Let us know if you're or if you know anyone or groups that'd be interested.

We are stoked to be partnered up with Tread Lightly!! Tread Lightly! leads a national initiative to protect and enhance recreation access and opportunities by promoting outdoor ethics to heighten individuals’ sense of good stewardship. Part of being Oregon Trail Off-Road means taking care of the environment we love spending our time in. Our motto has always been leave it in as good or better shape then you found when at all possible. Part of doing our part is supporting the organizations who are doing the work to further the boundaries of where we can travel and promoting friendly practices while out roaming the planet.
