Great report.  What way are you headed home?  We will be leaving Indiana on 4/16 for Galveston Island State Park and then Big Bend National Park for 2 weeks.

Nice report Bill. I'm sorry everything is closed here in the east. The parkway is always closed until Old Man Winter has fled the forest. When you guys head back home please bring the rain with you, we've had enough! Dad says hello!

Thanks for the report. Interesting trip so far. Can't believe a KOA is that much. Stayed in a lot of those when I was young.

Longhorn1 don't think we will be that far south. After a week or more in Baltimore we head for Key West

Mother Nature has a surprise for the first day of spring and it is still coming down.

Hey bill do you have pictures of how you mounted your hard solar panel on your Yakima racks? I have a couple too. It would save me from having to buy some flex panels. Dan

Thanks for the photos and report, Bill.  I've been Back East three times the past few Octobers and even met Longhorn1 in the Smokies last year.   I spent some days on the colorful Blue Ridge PW but Shenandoah NP was closed because of the gov shutdown that year.  Got to make it back to VA again sometime!
