There is something I want to make clear, has bothered me, since I posted.
Someone asked if Stan or Marty had offered me a job.
My answer,
Well, the more complete answer: I have the Senior Citizens version of ADD. When I try to do production work, my brain misfires and I screw up. Repetitive things turn my brain to unresponsive jello. No, but Marty wanted me to build some mounts for them. I got too much fun stuff going on, and HATE working on somebody else's timetable.
Now to the fun stuff part, I'm retired, my job is to be in the shop at 9-10AM and out at 6-7PM. Weekends are with HER. I start the day asking "What's the most fun thing I can do today?" and work from there. I do stuff for myself and friends. That's what I do, that's why I continue to live.
So, if somebody here needs a shop, for personal stuff, let me know.
Caveat:
You gotta be here to help.
No production or CNC.
I'm an adult, and might say no.

That is one cool setup you have. Amazing what people with the shell models can do. I have a Hawk shell, but not the skill as you have. Thanks for the info, thanks more for the ideas. Now, my brain is thinking up some more mods!

I especially like your "Random Thoughts", "Screwups" and "Sources".

Great job on the camper. Looks fantastic. I really like the camper mounts that you came up with also. If you have a drawing for those I would appreciate it. I can take it to a shop I work with here and have some made.
One idea for the latches that came open is a simple barrel bolt. They will normally stay closed. A hasp latch also works well.
