Our aspen is just getting leaves. The dogwoods are blooming all around us. The white firs are pouring out pollen (a couple of weeks early). I'm getting the big snowblower ready for its long summer's nap. Spring time.
Possibility of snow Sunday.

We've got to think of these happenings as fun. We brought it on ourselves - snow tires off the Subaru, awning on the deck (it is retractable ), big snowblower all apart for repair, etc. Bring it on Ma Nature! We always have a smaller, well running, snowblower in reserve.
An old guy we knew who was on the Mt. Rainer Search & Rescue group always said, "Just another day in the mountains and just a little bit more fun than usual."

It's a trend I've discovered watching our NOAA point forecast, the night forecast person lowers the predicted precipitation amounts. When I check in the morning, the predicted amounts are back up. It's been going on all season, we laugh about it and figure the night crew are pessimists.
Last night no snow, this morning its back to 4".
