Ski thanks for taking us along on this fun trip. The old buildings you search out and find
are great. It's always amazing to see how people before us have lived off the land.
Thanks and best wishes and a quick recovery on both knees to Julie.
Frank
Thanks Frank! Every discovery leads down a path......................................
The old stone buildings brought many questions such as who settled this place? Where was all the stone quarried? How long has this place been abandoned? So many stories haunt the land we travel across.

Nice report - great area. Best of luck with the knee surgery. Five years post op on one replacement and we are fortunate to have this type of medical practice to keep us active and out there.
So true Taku. We wish continued success with your new knee. I expect the Lady will make an interesting test subject on a double knee replacement. Thanks for the kind comment!

Thanks for another interesting and nicely photographed trip report. Please pass our best wishes to Julie on the upcoming surgeries. Your cousin, "the Big Guy" hit the nail on the head . . . . with all of the hiking that you two do, her knees have earned some reinforcements! - R & G
Thanks R&G for the very kind comments and well wishes!

Thanks Richard! We about ready to head down to the big city and get this all going. The Lady is so excited to get on the road to recovery.

Good luck, Julie, with the surgery and the recovery. We need more photos of you standing on new promontories with your see-mores surveying your realm.

Paul, your very kind comment gave Julie a big smile, thank you!
Surgery was last Friday afternoon. All went well. I brought her home yesterday (Saturday) afternoon and she is doing very, very well. She can freely move around the house with the walker and is up more than down. A series of 5 post op exercises to do 5 times a day. Julie "always a teacher" has the schedule on the broad. Only thing we're missing is a buzzer to signal the end of class.
