You beast!

By any means necessary, these destructive pests must be stopped. I replace my repellant bags every 8 weeks as recommended. Have had only one invasion since I started using the repellant. I had let it go for 12 weeks.  So far, they have invaded the truck only, not the camper.

Got a taxidermist in town and a spot on your living room wall?

Sorry, I just could not resist. :)

Congrats on eliminating the vermin. Worst I ever had was when one died in my heater. Took a while for the smell to go away.

My husband's heater fan caught on fire while he was driving. It was a mouse nest. One time my husband opened the glove box while I was driving and a mouse dove behind the box and the heater fan stopped. I turned it off, he reached behind the glove box and pulled out a mouse head which he threw out the window along with the nest in the box. The rest of the body was never found.

I had a dog who was a pro at determining there was a nest in an engine compartment. I would warn people if he became obsessed with their vehicle.

A year or so ago I popped up my camper to find a cache of dog biscuits on the bed. A mouse must have carried them one by one from the bag I had left unprotected beneath the counter. And last autumn I had a chipmunk get in the camper through one of the tie down access doors. That was fun.

This year, two years after two fires in the area, the rodents have exploded. We have trapped 14, the cat got 2 and one went into the vacuum cleaner and could not get back out. We found it by the smell. Next year the snakes will increase. Oh joy.

I was going to mention that the foxes would like them. If you can train the foxes to come in and mouse for you??  Put the fear of fox in them vermin.   The Coopers hawks like mine.

Good job! That fine fur makes great dubbing for fly tying. :)
