Last time I slept in the over-cab bunk of my pop-up, I woke up sore and stiff. I said it was the last time. Well I just installed a Froli Double Star basic kit under my hard 4" foam mattress. Happy days! What an improvement. Worth the price and wasn't that much effort.
My pop up is a FWC Hawk 80" wide with the extended over-cab double bed. Having only a double size bed is the key to using the Froli system. I don't have the expanding/over lapping pull out board(removed it) required for the queen. If you do, you won't be able to use the Froli system. Read a few posts where it was mentioned the 1-3/4" added spring height would make it hard to close the top. Not so. And the system only adds 10 lbs.

The light blue springs are for my shoulders, the blue with red are for lumbar support. The bed is sleep-able now. Still on the firm side but I wake up refreshed and rested. I have the springs set up so I can sleep with my head on either side.

Nice!

I wanted to do a Froli bed, but like you said it will not work with a N-S sleeping arrangement.

My Hawk was ordered with the queen slide-out. I removed the slide out panel and just use the main mattress and sleep side-to- side. A benifit Having 80" width vs 69".

In my Eagle I need to sleep N-S, and at 6'4" tall I really need to sleep N-S.

Very interesting. Looks like they do offer 3 sizes, though since each spring is modular I don't know why you couldn't create any size.

This is their Sleep System page, but if you want to order click through from the home page or you'll get a dead link.

From the order page for Star System:

our basic "bed in the box" kit
60 spring elements: 50 regular, 10 soft (light blue), 60 base elements
10 tension clips
covers approximately 17 sq.ft. or a bed size of about 76" x 32".

our "double" kit
96 spring elements: 80 regular, 16 elements soft (light blue), 96 base elements
16 tension clips
covers approximately 26.4 sq.ft. or a bed size of about 76" x 50".

our "queen" kit
120 spring elements: 100 regular, 20 soft (light blue), 120 base elements
20 tension clips
covers approximately 34 sq.ft. or a bed size of about 76" x 64".

Pricing from $199.00 for "Bed in the Box" Basic Kit

I second you soughdough. I have this system in my XPC. It comes standard and after sleeping on it I can't go back. Another plus is there is now air circulating under the foam pad, this keeps moister from accumulating under the mattress.
