That pasted URL works. So strange. Yeah, I first posted with the "Copy URL", then I had Google create the image link and neither of those worked. I've done both in the past, and they've always worked. So weird.

I can see the pics. Which means it's probably a permissions issue.

I moved the photo to a shared folder, and checked to make sure settings are that people with link can see.

Did that work?

Yup! I can see it.

Stoopid permissions... I shoulda thought of that sooner. Der. :-)

I realllly like my kayak. It is an Aquaglide Panther Inflatable Kayak. https://www.aquaglid...ucts/panther-xp

Got it from REI.

I do want to get some heavy duty velcro for the seat tho. The bottom has a tendency to scoot forward.

I'd had hard kayaks before, but when I got my FWC, I couldn't imagine trying to get a hard kayak on/off the roof on my own.

A couple of friends have inflatable ones, so I researched the heck out of them, and for not crazy expensive, this one is great.

It's super easy to inflate with the foot pump, and I can carry it in the backseat of my camper.

I took Sully out on Saturday, and Argos came out with me on Sunday.

Yesterday, after I got out of the water, I popped up my camper and hung out while the kayak dried off.

Super nice way to spend a morning.

Good to see ya figured a way to beat the heat! Maybe a good way to get around the eclipse crowds too!?
As far as posting the pic, it was odd. When first posted I could see if on my phone, but bit later couldn't see on iPad.
If a tech pro has problems, what chance do I have??

Hahahaha! That's definitely odd, although you were probably viewing in Safari on the iPad, so perhaps it has issues with it. Odd.

There are a lot of lakes and rivers around here! The kayaking is great!

Ooooh, it might be interesting to go out on the kayak for the eclipse. hmmm

Looks like fun in the kayak. Kayaking during the eclipse sounds great- escape the crowds. Thanks for posting the photos- I have run into that permissions problem before myself. Funny though that the links worked anyway before you moved the photos to the shared folder. The internet works in mysterious ways (or not). :)

Argos looks like Callie from behind.

We did a nice, slightly smokey, kayak on Spaulding Res. on Sunday.  Smoke from the Minerva fire to the north was visible, but not too bad where we were.  We were prepared to turn back if it got bad.  We also had a growing thunderhead and some rumbling to keep us thinking about getting off the water in the afternoon.

It was a nice day to be on the water, with 100 degree temps in Sacramento and 90's in our neck of the woods.

Love all the kayaking pics!

One of the things on my impossibly long list.

I like the Pungo Wilderness but like Dawn the handling of it alone would probably make it impossible for me. Inflatables easier to store. Another conundrum but a fun one :)
